100-WORD BIO: Katheryn Maddox Haddad was born in the cold north and now lives in Arizona where she doesn’t have to shovel sunshine. She has written 66 books – 16 historical novels, 24 non-fiction books, 26 storybooks for children – and numerous newspaper and magazine articles. Haddad has taught English over the internet to over 6000 Muslims and has converts to Christianity in hiding in Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Somalia, Yemen, Jordan, Palestine, Pakistan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan. “They are my heroes,” she declares. She spends an average of 300 hours researching her historical novels. Her literary memberships include Christian Writers of the West, American Novel Society, and American Christian Fiction Writers.
