The world sings to you

0-Cover-MediumMy heart sings to you, my Lord God. I lift up my voice and it echoes from star to star. I sing in the morning and through the day. And in the evening when I fall asleep, my song is not still, for my soul leaps to the moon and my song resonates through the stars to your throne.  In the night I sometimes awaken a moment and hear the chirping crickets and croaking frogs singing their song to you. In the day, I hear the warbling birds and purring kittens singing their song to you. The world sings to you, for you are our Maker and we worship you.

Ah, Lord, you are my high priest who laid down on the altar of the world that day on that hill and became your own sacrifice. You are my king who descended from your throne to share your majesty with me. You are my shepherd who goes down treacherous haunts to rescue me from places I should not have been in the first place. You are all I could hope for and more than I can comprehend. All I know is that, whatever you do, it is out of love for me. Thank you, my Lord. Thank you.
